Check if your display or graphics card is faulty. (M27q-P Horizontal white pixilated line)
Very recently I have bought a M27q-P as well as a Rx6750xt. Started having this line appear on my screen very early on. Shows up in multiple games (CS:GO w/wo frame limit, MW2 the second one, Ori the first one) but yet to be seen on the desktop. Sometimes shows up immediately sometimes takes a while, doesn't stick around for long. Was not sure if this was a dead GPU or defective monitor, leaning more towards monitor now, but still unsure. Tested a few times with different DP ports on the GPU with no change. It has not shown up on a second HDMI monitor I have plugged in. I have not been able to test a different cable yet, nor GPU. Might borrow a cable from a friend to test that. The 780 I previously had is dead so the only GPU I have to test with is an R7 360 but might still worth a shot. My GPU temps have not even reached 60^c in testing and have not done any OC. Have not stress tested the system yet. Did a full DDU+Safemode when installing the card. Could try remounting and reinstalling the drivers. So far however, after disabling freesync I tested again for ten minutes without seeing it. It may still show up but that's what I have had time for. I did find this post that was showing a near identical issue to my monitor, though this is the non P model and I am not experiencing any black screens. https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic...=2&t=11469 Main question being, I only bought these a few days ago, should I just return the monitor? Or is this some known firmware issue, or, could this be a GPU issue. Really not sure what my best course of action is right now. Not too sure of what this problem could be caused by. If anyone has a better understanding of what is going on I would appreciate the advice. I'll just be kicking myself for spending my money in the corner here lmao.
I just noticed it doesn't appear in the replay. I should have looked into it earlier. I'm still trying to decide if returning it is the right move, so I'll keep testing.
