Hello, I’m checking if this RAM will work with the one you already have. It looks like the item I bought isn’t available in stock anymore, and I’m not sure if they still produce it. I have a gift card ready to cover the purchase, hoping it would upgrade my system from 8GB to 16GB. The older chip is 2133MHz CL14, while the new one is 2666MHz CL16. I understand it might need to be underclocked to match what’s already installed, and some sources suggest CL14 could run at CL16 speeds. Since compatibility depends on these factors, I’m wondering if it would actually work or if I should skip it for two 2x4GB kits of the newer RAM instead. My motherboard is an ASRock Z170A-X1/3.1 ATX LGA1151, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!
