This setup is built for gaming and light video/photo work. It isn’t designed for demanding games, so I’d suggest upgrading the RAM first. You might want 16GB or 32GB now, depending on your needs. The current price of around $400 seems reasonable if you plan to invest in a better motherboard, CPU, power supply, and storage. Right now the CPU appears fine for now, but it could change during future upgrades. RAM is likely the main bottleneck at the moment. In the long run, Intel might offer better options that justify replacing the motherboard later. It’s hard to say what’s best without more details—what are your priorities?

Consider a minimum of 16 GB of RAM. If you can afford it, opt for 32 GB or more; otherwise, other factors remain acceptable in the meantime.

Consider testing it out on this motherboard or swapping the motherboard with a new one plus memory, ideal for future upgrades such as a 5900X.

It might be worth considering the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WIFI for an upgrade, though this could also require changes to your CPU and RAM.

Then less RAM, soon a new card, then CPU and finally GPU

Ram will be swapped anyways... but the R5 2600 will stay in place for now since the new card is okay at the moment.

However, it might not work due to the combination of Zen and A320 chipset.

You have a solid setup with the B550 Aorus or TUF and a 2x16GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM.

You're considering replacing just a few components—RAM, drive, and PSU. Which ones are compatible with your current setup? Make sure the RAM matches the specifications, the drive type fits your needs, and the PSU provides enough power for all devices.
