Your Ryzen 3 3200G seems to struggle with loading Minecraft chunks, even after checking hardware upgrades and driver updates. It might be underpowered for the task, especially if you're expecting smooth performance. Consider upgrading to a more capable CPU like the Ryzen 5 4500 or exploring better RAM options.

Minecraft demands significant processing power. Your 3200G features just four zen+ cores and doesn’t run at peak performance. Are you using dual-channel memory?

Minecraft demands a lot of processing power, but lowering the settings helps it run smoothly. I achieve scores above 60 using an i3 processor. Start by disabling all advanced options in Fancy, then adjust chunk loading and other effects to suit your needs.

It's true, I had higher hopes. It's from 2022 and it definitely can't play Minecraft. I believe it's a 3200 with 16GB RAM and dual channels. It's not great, but it doesn’t seem to cause any bottlenecks in the game.

Your render distance should be appropriate for the current settings so you're experiencing good gameplay performance.

I’ve got some older i5 models that should handle it fine with the same configurations. It seems to be just chunk loading, and as long as I’m not loading new chunks, it reaches 120+ frames per second. I’m curious if tools like OptiFine could help improve it.

It doesn't depend on how far the rendering goes. After the initial chunks are in, everything works smoothly, but loading more than expected breaks everything. Even with over 12 chunks, I'd still see similar frames if I could reduce it to just 4.

Is this happening on a server or just on your local machine?

You didn't mention removing the old HDD, and it seems like you're facing trouble transferring data from it.
