I attempted various online fixes but none worked effectively. The attempt to save the group policy update ended up with a long error message and failed to persist. I plan to run this on the hardware with OC and then proceed with selling the DS4P.

I just restarted and chose a full install; it worked without issues. The gpedit wasn't saving properly, so I completed the installation manually. It didn’t retry the full setup until now—last night I left it open for an hour and it made no progress at all. Maybe the problem was using 4.7g bench stable instead of the recommended 4.45g.

Are you using Windows? Would you like to try running the program as an administrator?

It starts with admin rights by default, only attempting to launch it requires those permissions

It seems there isn't a direct equivalent of Sudo in Windows. Therefore, user privileges would need to be assigned to the specific account being used.
