Checking if my GPU (RTX 2070) can handle PCIe 3.0 and NVMe 4.0 on the same CPU lanes is a good question. Both will likely stick to their rated speeds unless something limits them. Your processor is an I7-11700K with the ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO WD Black SN850, which should support those connections well.

Absolutely, they function independently. I think most of us and several others have a 30-series GPU paired with a PCIe 3.0 NVMe storage, and both perform optimally.
