Hello everyone,
I’ve successfully reached 4.6ghz on my i7 6700K at 1.385v. That’s not ideal, but any lower voltage would likely fail the RealBench test. Temperatures were around 27°C during idle and 73°C under maximum load using a H115i.

I’ve also tested 4.7ghz at that voltage, but it didn’t work. Adjusting the voltage by .1v increments up to 1.45v also proved unsuccessful. It might be that my chip’s capabilities are limited, and this could just be a matter of luck.

With XMP enabled, the settings were originally from an attempt at 4.7. No improvement as expected. Any suggestions for alternative configurations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support.

Did well so far.
As of 2/16/16
What percentage can achieve an overclock with a reasonably stable 1.40v Vcore?
I7-6700K
4.8 18%
4.7 56%
4.6 87%
4.5 100%
Consider testing RAM at a lower speed and 1.2v.
I've noticed that higher RAM voltage can reduce your maximum overclock.
RAM speed has little effect on performance.

Sure, I can give that a shot too. Thanks for the response.
My i7 3770K handled an overclock up to 4.5ghz at 1.380v – solid performance.
This one might be a bit tougher, but I’ll give it a try. Any adjustments from your images should I consider?
Thanks.

just like you mentioned it's a lottery and we're unlucky, I get it 😀
my 6700k is running at 1,350 with 4,7ghz but won't work at 4,8... sad but okay. i came from a 2,80ghz cpu and really love my new one.

Haha, still, at least you reached 4.7 and saved .045 volts compared to me!
