I was attempting to reprogram the L Ctrl key for Paste. Various tools have been tried, but conflicts arise when other Ctrl-based shortcuts are active. Adjustments using Windows remap utilities or AHC haven't resolved the issue, as Ctrl+C still triggers Paste. The goal is to remap the Paste action directly instead of relying on Ctrl+V.

You could use the new powertoys at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/. It features a keyboard manager with a solid tutorial on its capabilities—check it out!

I've already used Powertoys, I didn't realize it was mentioned. They lack the Paste feature, which is the issue.

Open the keyboard manager, select remap shortcuts, click add and type whatever you wish for your new paste shortcut. Press Ctrl + V together to assign it. If you want it in every app, just leave the settings at all apps.

This approach didn't function initially, but the concept was helpful. I managed to implement a workaround by adjusting the Ctrl+C shortcut, which previously caused problems with Ctrl+V remapping. Now it works smoothly.
