My two copper coins—updating BIOS isn’t always straightforward. I need to follow the instructions provided by the motherboard manufacturers. Certain age-related updates must be applied in a specific sequence; skipping steps can damage the board. For instance, you can’t jump directly from driver 1 to 10, there are intermediate updates required, often mixed with other downloads. Pay close attention to the details. Another point is that with Ryzen processors, moving too far ahead might cause compatibility issues because the BIOS chip on some boards isn’t large enough to support all Ryzen generations.

I maintain my Bios regularly, but only when everything functions properly do you need updates. Each Bios release carries a chance of causing problems. If you're unsure and the current version works fine, I wouldn't upgrade.

I understand these points... I don't know the reason behind your question. Lol
