I’m just tweaking my CPU a bit and checking if these settings are okay. I don’t think I own the top model, but are these numbers sufficient? After finishing about half an hour of Cinebench R23 stability testing, it looks stable enough for regular gaming and video work. I tried running it at a lower voltage, but it doesn’t drop much further—otherwise it would crash after the third test. The BIOS settings are set up well for my build.
i recall that at stock settings only three cores get boosted up to 5.1GHz, while the others remain around 4.7 to 4.8GHz. For all cores, the frequency stays near 5GHz with a fixed Vcore. The room temperature is about 28°C to 31°C throughout the year, and i usually play at 1080p with 144Hz, so it probably isn’t too taxing on the cpu.
That’s feasible. Only five cores were visible on the graph shared. If the slower ones aren’t displayed, it’s likely they’re hidden. I was consistently seeing 5.0 across all levels. Regarding temperatures, there are two perspectives and I’m unsure which is accurate. The traditional view suggests keeping the CPU below 75°C for longevity. The newer perspective claims engineers define safe chip temperatures, and as long as the chip functions, even at higher temps like 95°C or 105°C, it may degrade so slowly that the CPU remains viable well before failure.
