You can load the game ahead, which means you won’t have to wait for a massive 60+GB file to download while many others try simultaneously. You could enjoy playing right away on launch day instead of waiting through slow dial-up speeds during the entire launch week.
No one recalls the excitement surrounding Anthem and Fallout 76.
That's accurate. It looks like it has been improved in some way. Based on what I observe.
All aspects of Cyberpunk have raised serious concerns for me. The inflated budget, the overly extended and intricate development timeline, dependence on licensed content and famous figures, the frantic last-minute fixes before launch, the microtransaction practices despite promises otherwise, the underwhelming PS4 gameplay, the whispered day one update, and the unrealistic expectations set by Keanu Reeves and a high-end Porsche have all contributed to my doubts.
It seems the project required approximately $314 million, which is notable when contrasted with GTA V’s $100 million budget. I’ve noticed many sponsored advertisements in the trailers as well. Of course, my goal remains to ensure strong performance. It’s been a while since we’ve released an original open-world title that isn’t tied to a series.
I think I’ll manage to get it this summer once the game is fixed.
It's hard to believe pre-ordering games these days, especially since there aren't any shortages and digital downloads are always my preferred option. CDPR has spent the past eight years developing this title, which could either be a huge mistake due to its lack of story and poor gameplay, or it could be an amazing game worth the wait. Their previous major release, The Witcher 3, took three and a half years and faced delays but eventually became a fan favorite. It would have been much better if the excitement around it hadn't been so intense, as that often leads to stronger criticism. Ultimately, the best way to decide is to either pre-order or wait, and I'm more interested in giving it a month before checking reviews.
