The monitor displays the Ryzen 7 9700X at 5.9Ghz. Is this an issue or is the processor actually reaching that speed? (Note: Your AIO pump header fan is at full capacity.)
Did you turn on PBO or some BIOS setting? It can work as a short burst for a moment on one core when PBO is enabled. Your clocks are extremely fast but not very practical, and the slowest ones are still quite high. I’m considering options in BIOS as well. You might want to check for errors using OpenHardwareMonitor.
I dont think i have PBO turned on since the power usage is just 88Ws, and no OC on CPU, this was during RDR2 at 4k ultra. While playing the game i didn't look at the HW monitor so i have no idea what were the average clock speeds. I will try and recreate the situation and keep an eye on average clock speeds.
It doesn't claim it runs continuously at 5.9GHz, that's the peak performance for this setup
I understand it doesn't maintain a steady 5.9GHz, but I was taken aback by this pattern. I'm aware it reaches 5.6GHz sometimes, but this was unexpected.
