AMD's official memory controller operates at 3200MHz, but you can exceed that. My system runs at 3700x with 3600MHz RAM without any issues.

Technically the 3200MHz is the highest supported, but you can definitely exceed it. I'm currently at 3000MHz on my Ryzen 5 2600 and might reach 3600MHz with more RAM. A 3700X should handle it smoothly.
