I placed an order for a new processor intended for upgrading. It’s proving difficult to achieve higher XMP speeds while keeping stability. I’m considering adding 3600 MHz and 32 GB RAM, moving from 2400 MHz modules, but the website’s support information appears outdated, dating back to 2018. Would these memory sticks be compatible with the installation?
Which chip are you replacing? The 1000 and 2000 series Ryzen models are quite particular about RAM, often having lower memory timings, which means boosting XMP settings above the supported limits might not always work smoothly.
I'm moving to 3800x and just pushed the BIOS to handle it. Supported XMP profiles now go up to 3000mhz. There are some crashes when using OC FYI, voltage is around 1.35. However, MOBO confirms compatibility with 3200mhz (per their support document), so having RAM at 3600mhz shouldn't be a problem if I stick to 3200mhz XMP.

This motherboard works well with the 5600X. Just because it supports the card doesn't guarantee you'll get the best performance. Pairing a 5950X with an A-series board could cause issues if you're not careful.
Thanks for the guidance. I canceled the 3800x order and decided to go with the RAM you recommended, along with the 5600x and B550 motherboard. I wasn’t really aiming for a new build now, so it feels like spending three times what I originally wanted. However, I have some extra parts left over that could be useful for a backup PC or server—likely a Linux setup. Also, having Bluetooth is a big plus since I don’t have a PCI card, only a dongle which is pretty disappointing.
