I discovered this RAM model - https://www.newegg.com/patriot-16gb-240-...6820220694. My Dell Vostro 470 is compatible, but third-party RAM isn’t usually recommended by Dell. I ran a compatibility checker to confirm it would work.

The Dell Vostro 470 supports DDR3-1600, whereas the RAM you have is DDR3-1866. This should work fine since it will reduce the speed from 1866 to 1600.
