I bought a 7700xt but plan to spend $50 to get a 7800xt. I’m unsure if my PSU can handle it. Most wattage calculators suggest between 600 and 699 watts, which matches my PC’s range. The specs say around 462 watts, but I’m not sure if the GPU causes big power spikes or another problem that would stop me from getting it. Here are my current specs:

This price drop seems temporary, so I’m planning to buy a few PSUs at once. These units are excellent, and most people won’t have trouble with them.
For reference, if the reader isn't familiar, Superflower creates and manufactures some of EVGAs top products, such as the famous G2 models. You'd have received an outstanding device for $70. However, it seems Superflower is currently out of stock, which makes sense.

Because I haven’t encountered any credible professional assessments of any Sama Black Diamond unit yet. And since it’s labeled “Tier B” on the Cultists ranking, that’s essentially a guessed placement—no actual reviews or platform info available.
To be clear, I’m not certain I’ve come across any recent evaluations of any Sama PSU models from the past five to eight years that suggest they’re decent. The only notable mention was the SAMA Forza back in 2016. Considering their history and without contradicting evidence, I’d steer clear of them as a brand.
