I tried removing a RAM stick to trick it into booting BIOS, expecting it to display "CPU or Memory Changed" and then go to BIOS, but it just jumps straight to the Windows Start Screen.
Pressing F1, F2, Esc, F8, F10, or DEL during boot does nothing. However, pressing DEL while holding the power button actually reboots, confirming keyboard input is being sent.
If I don’t press anything, it still reaches the Windows Start Screen.
Occasionally, a quick reboot shows just a black screen and displays the motherboard code AE.
Sometimes, a quick reboot leads straight to Windows 10 without showing the usual Aorus logo or briefly showing boot options.
Previously, when this was my setup, the first thing that appeared was the AORUS logo, followed by a Quick BIOS menu lasting about a second. It would prompt me to press F2 or DEL to enter configuration (BIOS) and show basic hardware details, along with some info about the system. Now it’s different.
Right now, in the world of sports, this is confusing???
Update/Addition: Running MemTest on reboot results in a nonresponsive black screen.
Also, I’m trying to access Safe Mode but only get a completely black screen.
Aorus Z370 models from Gigabyte feature several Z370 chipset boards labeled under their branding. What BIOS version is installed on your motherboard? You might try turning off Fast Boot in BIOS to test its impact. To reach BIOS, press the shift key during a reboot command from Start. The interface will display a blue screen, allowing you to select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware settings > Restart. This process works similarly with any bootable media using the same blue background method.
Because I can’t view the bios, I’m assuming the version. I refreshed it about 4-5 months ago and think it’s F17.
I’ve been using SHIFT + options for restarts.
I haven’t seen or paid attention to the UEFI reset option on the blue screen before, but I’ll check soon.
If I could get into the bios, I’d turn off fast boot.
By the way, when I booted into safe mode, my keyboard didn’t show anything but my mouse did… 🤷♂️

my fastboot isn't turned on and it's the same for me. this only occurs when expo is active, but when expo is off the subtle graphics display shows the motherboard's logo. i believe turning on ram overclock profiles might prevent the subtle graphics from appearing before the window loads.
Are you referring to memory overclocking similar to XMP? What is EXPO? I might be missing some details.
Well.... I used Shift+restart to reach Windows Installer Options at startup. Then, I instructed it to "reset" Windows 10 (lost a few applications in the process). After reinstalling Windows 10 from the existing file on the hard drive, I surprisingly managed to boot into safe mode using the keyboard, though without keyboard recognition. When trying to boot into BIOS, it wouldn't work, so I removed the RAM from the motherboard, restarted, and received the message "cpu or memory changed please enter setup." Then I turned off the PC completely. After reinserting the RAM, it displayed the normal sequence with the Aorus Logo and prompted to press DEL to enter setup. Before this, the option to press DEL wasn't visible at all—it went straight to the Windows Start screen.
