I lowered the power cap from 150w to 110w and it works fine now. I’m having trouble locating all core sync settings since they’re not clearly explained in the videos I watched.

Stress testing serves a purpose and temperatures during gaming on your motherboard can gradually rise, even if your CPU isn't heavily loaded. Monitor wattage and temperatures while playing, and everything should be okay. Keeping temps under 100 degrees is completely safe, and aiming for the 80s will help extend your CPU's life. The low 80s are ideal since your GPU doesn’t need much processing power from your CPU. I’d focus on pushing the CPU limits only when upgrading your GPU.
