I purchased a Ryzen 3700X and an MSI X570 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard. I’ve observed the fan in the lower right corner spins during startup but stops afterward. Is this normal behavior—only activating when needed? Just checking to be sure. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X570-TOMAHAWK-WIFI

Typically, most chipset fans follow a standard configuration. You can track their temperatures using tools like HWiNFO64, and if they stay below around the mid-60sC, the fan should operate normally.

You can modify the fan curve settings in the BIOS. Since I haven’t used an MSI X570 board, I’m unsure of the exact steps, but you can usually find similar adjustments for other manufacturers by following their specific documentation.
