I'm checking if the PC version of Mafia 3 has received updates since it's priced around £15. If not, I'd suggest some open-world titles. You mentioned you've tried many games like Watch Dogs 2, GTA, Witcher 3, Assassin's Creed, Batman, Sleeping Dogs, and Tomb Raider—what do you think?

I read and watched plenty of reviews, and frankly, it seems the game is just all around shit. Missions and optimization, oh and bugs. Haven't seen anything to indicate that it's "fixed" As for recommendations. Fallout games. Dark Souls games. I hear the new Ghost Recon is pretty good, although I no longer trust Ubisoft. Dying Light Borderlands games. Mad Max is good. If you like the combat from Batman, then this is really good too. I prefer the combat in Mad Max as you can't just spam, plus the hist feel much heavier. Rage. I played it when I was a console gamer and liked it, I don't think it's the best game, but it's pretty good, can probs get it really cheap. Some are not full on open world but rather large zones, but there all really good imo and worth a play.

I also used the closed and open beta for ghost recon, which I found quite disappointing.

I agree with the suggestion for Dark Souls and also recommend Nier: Automata. I’m really enjoying the game so far. Could you clarify what changes you’re looking for in Mafia 3?

Well then, it doesn't really catch me off guard. Ubisoft does a great job creating games that seem incredible, while the releases often feel dull.

The game was initially limited to 30 frames per second, though this was fixed shortly after launch. For details on PC compatibility and known problems, check the resources linked: http://www.pcgamer.com/mafia-3-pc-port-analysis/ and http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Mafia_III.

I haven't tried it yet. My last Ubi game was The Division, which I played for around three days and got tired of. I still want to play siege, but I've burned out from FPS games (multiplayer). Desync is my preferred FPS right now.

Reviews of games typically happen soon after launch, within the initial weeks rather than months later.
