Hello, a few weeks ago my 3090 stopped working. I wasn’t sure what caused it. While playing Elden Ring, my monitors went dark and the fans spiked up. I pressed the power button on my PC to shut it down completely. After a couple of minutes, I tried restarting it. It clicked once, then twice, and the RAM lights came on, but nothing else. A friend suggested checking the onboard graphics to see if the PC would power up. I didn’t have that, so I swapped in my old 2060 and managed to turn it on. The next day I tried reinstalling the 3090, but it still wouldn’t work. Some people here mentioned checking the PCIe connection for damage, but I didn’t see anything unusual. I think the issue might be with the GPU since it runs smoothly on the 2060. The warranty for the 3090 expired, so fixing it would cost money. I’m considering getting a new GPU or replacing the unit altogether. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
