Hi everyone, I'm checking if these temperatures are normal. I've been playing for a few hours and took a short break during the last 5 to 10 minutes. In-game it stays around 70°C usually, but it drops to about 65-70°C when idle (like on surfing YouTube). It feels like it's between 45 and 55°C right now while I'm downloading Rainbow Siege. Hi, no worries about the GPU either. The fans aren’t shutting down at all. I’m stuck using Precision X or else the fans won’t work on it. Evga probably designed this model to push performance, and the auto doesn’t handle heat well—GPU temps hit 70 to 75°C during games. Turning fans up to 70% keeps it below 60°C in-game. My main concern is the CPU.
Great! You got your setup at 4.9Ghz. My rig runs best around 4.6 to 4.8 with auto turbo enabled. Since my motherboard is budget-friendly, I won’t be upgrading it until I can afford a better one. Thanks to both of you for the details!
It's actually typical for a laptop to run hot and still maintain a charge while idling.
I recently switched from a 6700k model, and it rarely exceeded 60°C even under heavy use. That’s the main reason I’m reaching out. Plus, I swapped out the fans for the same brand but newer ones, hoping to keep the AIO running longer.
