Check if the G.Skill memory includes the Samsung B-Die feature before purchasing.
I purchased a Ryzen 5950X paired with an X570 motherboard. After installing a 32GB RAM kit (two 16GB modules) at 3600 MHz CL16 using Samsung B-Die memory, I considered CL14 but found it unlikely to be available soon. Reviews on YouTube suggested CL14 might not justify the cost. Here are the details:
Names:
- G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series
- G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Speed
Specifications:
- DDR4 3600 MHz (PC4 28800) at CAS 16
- Model: F4-3600C16D-32GTZRC / F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC

Good Samsung B-die at 3600MHz will be 16-16-16 if not tighter. If the second number and third number doesnt give result larger than 200 after dividing frequency with them (so 3600/19 = 189.5), it's not good B-die. Bad B-die overclocks like any other high speed loose timing memory dies so no reason to focus on them.
