Check if the fan noise matches typical behavior as it speeds up.
Hey! I've observed this unusual "fluctuating" noise coming from the GPU when it's running between 35% and 60% RPMs, especially during gameplay. The sound disappears when the fans spin at their lowest speed (around 30% or about 1050 RPM). I captured the audio in a video and checked the fans while they were operating, but didn't spot anything unusual. Could it be a loose bearing or is this just normal behavior for the GPU? The model I have is the MSI Gaming Trio X RTX 4090. Here are the links to the recordings: [link] and [clearer fan video]. Thanks!
I’m not sure about the exact noise level with your 4090s, but I hope someone with more experience can clarify that. Your PC fans seem comparable to yours but quieter, which is good. The inside of your system appears clean and free of dust, which should help reduce any extra sound.
A few particles are present here and there, but not in large numbers, especially in the GPU after I removed it a few days ago and cleaned it up when that intermittent noise began.
