Can someone confirm if there are any bent pins on the CPU? You're unsure whether it's the motherboard or the CPU itself, and you want to know how to check for any bent parts. There are ways to inspect it carefully.

Observe from all four angles while keeping it at eye level. Any bent pin will protrude noticeably.

It seems you're dealing with a thermal paste paste that has formed. To remove it, gently scrape it off with a plastic tool or a soft brush, then clean the area thoroughly. If it's stubborn, use isopropyl alcohol or a suitable solvent. Avoid harsh chemicals to prevent damaging the surface.
