Check if the CPU, motherboard, or cooler is causing the PC failure.
I recently put a cooler on my PC, but in the process dropped and bent some pins on my CPU. When I tried to start the computer with everything installed—hoping it would work despite the bent pins—I found nothing turned on. I’m aware of the potential damage and ordered a replacement, but I’ve read that even if the CPU is damaged, the fan cases should still be on and there should be some kind of display. Should I worry because there might be more issues than just the CPU?
I'm worried about whether adding a new CPU would prevent my PC from turning on. Also, there seems to be a possible missing pin on the top left side.
Thank you for your help! I appreciate it. Just one more question, would it be normal for the pc to not turn on at all with my current situation?
It requires a CPU to power on, which means you won’t see the BIOS display unless it’s active.
