Hello, I came across a PC with an Intel i5 11500 processor, starting at 2.7GHz and boosting up to 4.6GHz. I was curious about its overall performance. It seems suitable for gaming, streaming, video editing, and photo editing. While I’m not very experienced in these areas, I’d appreciate general opinions. Specifically, I want to understand the difference between base and turbo speeds and whether it can be overclocked. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It works well for gaming. It also suits streaming, though results depend on your stream settings and desired resolution. The native clock speed is 2.7GHz; boost speeds will increase during intense tasks. For an 11500 processor, overclocking isn’t recommended. If you need it, consider the i5-11600KF or a 11600K for better performance. Others might have different preferences, but this chip should handle 1080p, gaming, and video editing smoothly. For 1440p, it should work if your GPU is strong enough. With a dedicated GPU, NVIDIA’s stream encoder is reliable, and OBS supports it. See Nvidia’s guide for more details: https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/gui...ing-guide/
