The CPU in that image was running quietly with only a few programs active, nothing too demanding. I think I replaced it about a year or two ago, so maybe it’s fine. It seems to be having trouble a lot, which makes sense given its age and the fact I bought it back in 2020. Cleaning it up might help, but it could also be worth giving the PC a reset.
When temperatures stay low, it suggests a possible problem with the CPU cooling system. The cooler might not be secured correctly or could require refinishing. My 9600K typically runs around 30°C at idle, even with a tower cooler installed, which definitely aids performance.
I last reinstalled Windows several months ago. A fresh installation might resolve the problems you're facing. Your system has many running programs that consume resources, which can cause issues when combined. You're using Corsair, HyperX, and SteelSeries peripherals—your setup is getting older. Adding more features and visual elements makes it harder to manage tasks, especially during gaming. Try closing as many programs and background processes as possible to free up resources.
