Check if the CPU is faulty or if the pins are damaged.

My PC, since I cleaned it, wont boot. It shows CPU error on the motherboard LEDs. I could buy a new one but I cant see any bent pins or damage on neither of the components. Is my CPU maybe dead? It worked before and i dont have a secound motherboard atm. Any Tips?

The images are a bit unclear, but the pins appear acceptable. Are any of the pads on the CPU showing signs of damage? Is there any warping visible in the CPU? If everything seems normal, the issue might only become apparent by testing another motherboard or CPU.

Sorry about the image, I examined it with a magnifying glass. Here are two more, though I’m leaning toward a second mobile at least—it’s more affordable.

It seems there might be a small deposit on the CPU pads. Would you like rubbing alcohol with at least 92% purity to clean them?

Remove all components from the case and assemble the system on a test board. If you handled it properly, the CPU should still function.

I also tried that. Still nothing worked. The same CPU error keeps appearing. I’m really worried my CPU might be damaged. I used an arm strap with a wire to ground myself, and the PC was powered on. It’s hard to believe I might have destroyed my CPU.
