This place is perfect!
I didn't review the data sheet for the B850-AORUS ..
Right now I noticed "* The PCIEX16 port only accommodates a graphics card or an NVMe SSD. If only one graphics card is intended, make sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot."
The "or" part is puzzling me. Is the plan to connect it to the 2/3, but then what happens next ..?
I've seen similar situations on other alternative B850 boards, so I decided to give up. It seems like makers are intentionally unclear about the PCIe capabilities in this line. The B650E I mentioned earlier clearly supported NVMe. There were many BIOS settings for dividing resources or pipelines that would actually limit the upgrade options.
The MSI X870Tomahawk has a comparable issue - using slot "x" means half of the USB connections on the back panel go to x4. Not that I'm worried about it, they're just managing lanes.
To be honest, it's been quite a challenge trying to piece together a few spec sheets in a short time. Thanks for your feedback! I believe the SK Hynix RAM choices are excellent. Thank you!
