Checking if my CPU isn't acting up is important. I usually hit 84% usage, but during Spider-Man it only reached 100% briefly. At 1440P with RT maxed, I'm seeing 60-70fps, which feels like a bottleneck. My 5900X stays around 4800 across all cores while gaming. The numbers came from HWinfo.
I noticed some updates suggesting running it without MT enabled might improve performance, so I gave it a try. It sometimes helps, though I’m still not achieving full GPU utilization or close results most of the time—usually only a slight increase in FPS, around 10 average. I’m not sure if it’s using all available threads, just that I’m not getting the hardware to its full potential.
It requires a lot of processing power, particularly when enabling RT. Perhaps a 5800x3D model would work better.
I need to review my exact configurations, since it seems I adjusted some values from "very high" to "High" or similar. It looks like I’m still achieving solid performance, possibly better than what you’re seeing, especially with my 5600 and 2070 Super. There might be other settings I haven’t considered that could further improve things.
I perform better without moving through the city; it's just the swinging that affects my performance, causing lower FPS.
Maybe the game isn't optimized well. It seems like an era when the FX8000 chips were released, and performance was lacking because no games could utilize 8 cores, and those cores were also weak. I believe we're far from developers using 12 or 16-core gaming, let alone 24-core.
