R7 3700x
2070 S
32gb 3600mhz cl 16 ram
With under 16gb of memory, I achieve 80-90 fps in GTA V. When using more than 16gb, the frame rate drops to 60-70 fps.

Does the system support 4x8GB of RAM, and does it maintain a clock speed of 3200MHz when using 32GB?

Likely the chip setup on the real RAM sticks is dual-sided versus single-sided. Have you checked the T1 versus T2 timing?

When you're using a 16GB for that game, there are other programs also utilizing your CPU.

MSI x570 gaming plus details. T1 versus T2 timing—this isn’t something I’m very comfortable with. Let me know if you need more help.

When you download and execute CPU-Z, you can view the memory timings. T1/T2 show the command rate of the memory, with T1 being quicker than T2. If you're using MSI Dragon Center, it's best to remove it since it causes a significant memory drain.

The command rate remains at 1T, and despite uninstalling Dragon Center, the issue persists. Do you have additional suggestions?
