Hi, welcome! I'm just starting out with building and overclocking, and I'm curious about how much my FX4300's 4.8GHz is limiting my Strix RX480's 1.4GHz performance. I'm planning to get a new CPU soon but am currently pushing this CPU to its maximum. Is the bottleneck really a problem? Did overclocking it help reduce that issue?

There will likely be a noticeable slowdown, but overclocking should definitely assist. Even with an 8-core FX processor, some limitations will remain, though they should be reduced.
