Hey there, I’m back and had some issues with my RAM in the past. It wasn’t running at the expected 3600MHz, so I bought two new sticks that also clock at 3600MHz. It seems like nothing has changed. My system is running the B560 M.2 DS3H v2, and I have two sets of 3600MHz CL16 RAM—one is a Ballistix and the other is Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro. I’ve also noticed my BCLK is 99.75MHz, which isn’t the default for my CPU. When I enable XMP on profile 1, it won’t boot when the sticks go into slots 1 and 3. Setting the multiplier to 3200MHz works, but the RAM only runs at 3184MHz, which is a bit confusing. I’ve tried installing them in slots 2 and 4, which boot fine but aren’t stable during games. I’m going to give the Corsair ones another shot, but I’m still a bit puzzled.
Does not function properly in slots 1 and 3 only 2 and 4 (this is the standard dual-channel setup). To achieve a 100.0MHz clock, adjust it manually. Set the DRAM frequency to 3200MHz and configure voltage and timing settings in BIOS. A slight variation in the clock is typical during auto startup, like my work laptop which runs between 99.8-99.7 MHz (bus clock). It’s likely the XMP profile isn’t stable in your configuration—manual adjustment is recommended.
Installed Corsair RAM in slots 2 and 4 without issues. XMP is enabled on slot 1 with auto, but it's running at 3580MHz. I can't locate the BCLK tweaker option, likely because it isn't supported on the MB.
They modified the settings, you can't adjust bclk anymore. We haven't used Intel since the 9th generation. The BIOS interface is in the Tweeker menu. Just turn off XMP, and configure DRAM voltage, DRAM frequency (system memory multiplier), and primary timings manually (advanced memory options). Memory timings can be verified under SPD. Sure, I gave it a shot, but it seems the RAM would somehow crash at 3500MHz. Still appreciate the support!
