It really makes sense. The price is lower compared to when it was released, and you can appreciate the experience more over time while watching things develop.
Yes, purchasing this pack will grant you immediate access to the complete game.
That provides beta privileges. You need the other option.

Note: Alpha access ended around June; now you must purchase each module separately.
Well there is nothing wrong with the first package but he could buy arena commander alongside it. Really it doesn't matter. Although he was partly correct in getting the whole game, the modules are just a quick way in before the release. Though I guess the mustang will cost exactly the same as the Aurora and you can melt it for a transfer. Might be worth the wait.
For me, the AC is worth it after the latest update. With the improved controls, the game feels much more enjoyable. I used to doubt it, but now I'm confident everything will work out well.
I think it's definitely worth it. The last few patches to AC have really added some excitement, and I've shifted from just jumping around to checking out new features and enjoying the game more. While I haven't played AC as often lately due to time constraints, I still find it entertaining. I'm not sure if an Aurora would be as much fun on its own, but I do have one for exploring, backup ships, or running a raft when the PU is out. When I play AC, I usually switch to my Hornet—it's faster and more equipped. After playing in an Aurora, it feels a bit disappointing. I tried the M50 last week with all ships available, but I'm leaning toward getting a Freelancer for racing. Once I have one, I'll be able to buy any future ships in-game.
It is not even a game yet. If there is something out there you would rather play right now spend the money on that.
