Hello everyone, I’m considering purchasing the new Dragon Age game. My MSI GTX 970 has been averaging around 55 FPS in benchmarks. Will the game run smoothly and is it safe to buy at a steady frame rate? I have an i5 4690K with 8GB RAM.
It functions well for me. Avoid using the Nvidia custom resolution option. The traditional downsampling technique performs better. That’s the idea—just know what I’m talking about.
Then I can guarantee your fine. Your setup is similar to mine so no worries. Btw incase you didn't know, cutscenes are locked at 30 fps, and its no way in hell "filmatic" or whatever ubisoft be is about. But it's not a deal breaker imo.
I don't think this game is playable. Many PC owners can't run it because of poor performance on various systems. The number of reported bugs is also significant. I own an i5-4670k with 8GB RAM and a GTX 770. According to Bioware's settings tool, my system should handle the game at a high setting. However, frame rates drop to around 30 in several areas. Using GeForce Experience doesn't improve things either. It seems the game has major performance problems, or perhaps both developers and Nvidia now view 30fps as acceptable. Since others with better systems face similar issues, I believe the problem lies with the game itself. My suggestion? Give them some time to fix these bugs.
