Hey everyone, I recently purchased a brand new AOC Q27G3XMN and it’s been performing well overall. But I’ve noticed some unusual dimmer areas on parts of the screen—about 2 to 3 times in the past few days. They appear mostly on the top section and vary in size; sometimes they’re small, other times much larger. Disabling HDR didn’t fix the issue, but turning it off for a while helped temporarily. I suspect local dimming might be the cause, since that’s what I thought when I turned it off. It only happened during gaming sessions, not when browsing the desktop, though it could be a coincidence. Have you encountered this problem before? Would it be wise to return the item? Thanks!
