Hello, I’m considering the B760I AORUS PRO DDR5 model with an 8+1+1 VRM setup. Since I mainly play in 4K and don’t overclock the CPU, will this setup be sufficient for the 14700K? Also, you mentioned it’s a mini ITX board—thanks!

With sufficient airflow it should work fine, though it will be close to the limit. Mini-ITX doesn't pair well with 13th and 14th generation processors mainly because of the heat they generate. When you factor in the cooling needs of those CPUs, an mATX case will likely be necessary.

You're wondering why you're not going for the K SKU. I'd opt for the non-K SKU or a 13700 to save some cash. It doesn't include unlocked power limits, but that shouldn't be a big problem since games usually don't push the chip's power too high anyway.

I already purchased the 14700kf and it was just $20 more than the 1300 model. For temperatures, I believe I should be fine. With the case, I can install a 240 AIO. My main worry is whether the VRM will be sufficient with the board I have.

High-temp problems arise with 240mm AIOs. Those chips handle power demands extremely well and can easily push the VRM to its limit. For stable performance, consider a 360mm AIO if you want consistent cooling.

If you opt for a mid-tower instead of a mini ITX, you likely won't need a 360mm replacement for your 240mm.
