I've checked the performance of my Ryzen 7 2700x using a Blender benchmark, and it consistently reaches 3.85 GHz. Is that considered strong?

The chip's main clock runs at 3.7Ghz by default. It can increase to 4.3Ghz for the fastest core during single-threaded tasks, but this boost is temporary. Over longer or sustained operations, it will mostly operate at the base frequency.

You should not increase the CPU power limit beyond its safe range, as doing so may damage the VRM.

The VRMs can only handle up to 75A continuously. A superior motherboard would be the best solution.
