hadn't experienced any problems with my GPU getting too hot before. However, after purchasing Wreckfest, my GPU reaches 70 degrees within five minutes and then shuts down. Other games I play such as Call of Duty, Rust, Dayz, Rocket League, and GTA 5 are mostly run at high settings without overheating. I've added more fans for cooling and a vertical mount for the GPU, but it still gets hot and shuts off.

Hi
The junction temperature on the GPU might be a concern, but 70°C isn't classified as overheating.
The highest safe operating temperature for the RX 5500 XT is 110°C, and it doesn't stop once it reaches that point—it begins to throttle or slow down to reduce heat.

The previous attempt had a temperature of 70°C with a junction at 80°C. After reinstalling the afterburner and increasing the fan speed, the result was improved, staying under 60°C.

If the maximum junction temperature is 80° C, then your GPU isn't overheating. What are your CPU and motherboard temperatures? Could you list your system components?
