DLC from the origin store will refresh automatically when you start Origin, similar to Steam. It seems the newest version is essential for playing online.

It performs significantly better than Steam in numerous aspects. Developing an offline version took Steam nine years. Support responses often take weeks, but EA replies within five seconds after clicking the call me button.
