I recently received an update for W10, and as usual, Microsoft tends to disrupt things without fixing anything properly. First, they release a huge box warning about needing an update, which I install and it takes about an hour. After that, I get another message asking me to update my Xbox One controller again, and then they ask me to reinstall Forza Horizon 4. The issue is that I don’t have enough storage space—my game is already installed and functioning, so where did all the data go? I really dislike Microsoft and find their Windows 10 updates frustrating.

Set up Windirtree, launch it with admin privileges, and you may be able to remove your FH4 setup afterward.

Execute a disk cleanup with admin privileges. Ensure you don’t select the option to retain files in your download folder if your update is set to version 1903.
