I'm using an Xbox, no link needed. I have an Asrock z97 stock cooler with an I5-4460 stock cooler board under $10 more than the H97. It includes 8GB Kingstom RAM and a 250GB Samsung Evo SSD, not an AMD card. The setup is Evga 970 with a 650W gold+ modular system and Windows 10. Total comes to about $1221.56. These items are likely available during Black Friday or Cyber Monday, prices may change. Edited November 7, 2015 by Made In Canada

It seems like a strong setup is coming together. You might want to look for a decent price on an HDD to boost storage capacity, though you’re not strictly dependent on it. Two points to note: 1) I won’t mention it, but Nvidia’s main rival provides better value for most budgets, so you should think about them at least. 2) The PSU appears a bit too powerful for my taste, but its efficiency is worth mentioning.
