These issues relate to risks when typing passwords while suspended, not physical access.

I believe it remains useful, though it doesn't apply to a sleeping PC setup. I just mentioned a potential attack technique you should know about.

Yes, unless there is a way to do that remotely, which is not something I'm aware of being possible.

The attacks occur in various ways. I noticed you mentioned needing a PC in sleep mode, but a reboot issue is also possible. That’s the scenario I used as an example. If your request differs, let me know more details.

We need more details about the security concern. Are you concerned about physical access to the device, or potential software breaches? It helps to clarify whether you're worried about local hardware or remote system threats. Understanding the exact form of the risk will guide the right solutions.

He inquired about a particular scenario. If a machine wakes from sleep mode, can you manipulate the login screen and how? Changing the system restart isn't necessary since after rebooting the device out of sleep, the actual attacker must handle any boot security before reaching the Windows login. Maybe a more appropriate approach would have been to focus on the original question first, then offer further guidance. I don’t know of a known hack, but it seems likely it could be done.

The original message was well explained. All necessary details were given for the request. The problem lies with those who didn’t read the post, misunderstood the question, or simply wanted to increase their post count.
