I have a 9400f and was planning on upgrading. Should I wait for 4600 or is there a better upgrade option?

Delaying isn't always the answer; you might just keep hoping for something better. If you're concerned about your current performance, you already have a solid decision between the 10600K and the 3600. The 4600 is likely to perform better, but you'd probably need to wait 3 to 6 months, which would be more expensive. Both models are currently available and quite strong, so waiting might not significantly impact your situation—plus, you could always upgrade to the 3600 later by selling the older one.

Improve whenever required. Only then is it right—no delay, no postponement. Act immediately.

A strong upgrade could be an AMD Ryzen 7 or Intel Core i7 processor, depending on your needs.

My setup includes an RTX 2060, an H310 M R2.0 1TB HDD with 500GB SSD, and I’m planning to spend about 300 euros.

The issue lies with the existing configuration settings.

That appears to be a specific motherboard model. It could be beneficial to upgrade only the CPU while retaining a board with sufficient VRM power.
