You might want to check an older version of the BIOS first. If that doesn’t help, it could be because you have the incorrect BIOS installed. When I updated my BIOS, I got the update for Asrock Pro b350m instead of the correct model, and the motherboard didn’t accept the mATX update. It seems the issue might be with the size—whether it’s ATX, mATX, or ITX.
