It should generally function correctly; whether XMP is needed or speed adjustments are required depends on the manufacturer and BIOS version. Typically, modern BIOS versions support premium RAM from reputable brands such as Kingston, Corsair, G.Skill, Adata, Samsung, and Micron.

Thanks for your quick responses. I placed the order a few days back, thinking it would be functional until then, but read some reviews suggesting potential issues. It seems it should work properly unless I manually adjust the settings.
