If you're using a 5950X or another Ryzen 9 model, I'd be cautious about that suggestion, though the 5800X consumes less power and its VRM layout isn't as weak compared to some other B450 boards. Regarding overclocking, it's technically possible but not advisable. PBO on Ryzen 3000+ can push you close to the maximum stable boost in multi-core tasks if you stress test correctly, though single-thread performance usually drops more. With my 5900X and a well-tuned PBO setup, I'd expect a noticeable Cinebench improvement over a Linpack stress test, making it more practical to focus on tuning rather than overclocking.
