I'm compiling a parts list for a project I'm planning. I need feedback on the components I've selected, especially whether anyone has encountered issues with them or if they suggest alternatives. I just want to confirm that I'm not selecting parts known for problems and that everything fits together smoothly. Please review and share your thoughts.

I think the build looks quite strong overall. Good quality parts and a nice setup.
What kind of games are you planning to play? Is this just for gaming? You might find a 7800x3d useful—it could match or beat the 7950x for performance and might even save some money.
This rig will be mostly for gaming but also occasionally will be used for music production, photo editing and *rarely* for video editing.
I'm upgrading from a pre-built 2018 GeForce 2080 RTX. in 2020 I replaced the MOBO and upgraded from an Intel CPU to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800x. I have never built my own computer so I'm sort of venturing into unknown waters but I think it will be a fun project.
I am hoping to play in 1440p somewhere close to 120fps, but I haven't put too much thought into it.
I haven't upgraded my monitors in a long time, I have a really outdated BenQ as my secondary that I probably should update and then turn my main MSI 1440p 144hz into my secondary. The monitor market is a bit overwhelming to delve into as it seems there are so many options that would be viable. do you have any suggestions?

Considering your needs, I'd say a 7800X3D would be more suited. Still offers 8c/16t of processing. It's a very good CPU.
With those specs (and I'm suggesting the 7800X3d) you will have really good 1440p gaming. Pretty much maxing most games at that res.
In terms of monitors, there are so many good 1440p panels now. Check this out :

All of these monitors are really good. I'd stick with 27inch though, as larger screens lose out on pixel density. 27inch is best there.

It's savage. I prefer IPS to VA panel types.
Mobo performs excellently. It should function smoothly with the next generation or two on AM5 as well.
It features robust VRMs, allowing for some overclocking potential. Win Win.
You might be content with a B650 board. The X670E would only be necessary if you require the extra M.2 and sata ports or more pcie lanes for soundcards/networking.
search for B650 boards that support pcie 5.0 ssd.
the Gigabyte Aorus elite B650 or the MSI Edge wifi B650 or Asrock Riptide B650E are solid options.
I've already activated the trigger on the MOBO since it was available as a special item last week for Cyber Monday. Thanks for letting me know. I've received all the necessary parts and plan to build it this coming weekend.
hello gentlemen, mission accomplished. ended up doing a small hardware adjustment, my original board got lost in the mail, so I ended up getting an ASUS Prime X670E-Pro WiFi motherboard. everything was pretty smooth sailing! happy with how it turned out. need to figure out some better cable management in the case and waiting on longer DisplayPort cables and a longer IEC to Edison cable then I will tackle all the cable management going to the case and under my desk.
