Hello there! I see you're trying to set up Windows 7 on your new hardware. It sounds like you're juggling a lot of parts and options. Let's break it down. You've got the MSI B250M motherboard and a Kaby Lake G4560 processor, with RAM and other stuff arriving soon. You're planning to install Windows 7 from a USB drive, but the instructions are confusing. Some suggest using Rufus with the Windows image, while others recommend Yumi Multiboot or similar tools. Since you mentioned multiple Windows versions and need to reinstall after wiping the SSD, it’s important to follow a clear process. If you're pressed for time and want a quick guide, I can walk you through the steps in simple terms. Just let me know how you'd like to proceed!

You may need to use only Windows 10, but I suggest installing it first and then adding this small helpful tool. Use rufus to make a bootable USB drive.

Run this application on Windows 7 x64 SP1 ISO. Warning: It won't function with modified or dual-boot ISO files that include both x86 and x64 versions. Requires a regular, unmodified ISO of Windows 7. Reference the original discussion for details.

You can also install 8 and 7 in Domandric; just keep in mind that 7 is quite challenging, which is why I wrote this post. Sigh, that matches the kind of image I have agent_x007... I might search for another option, but it's the best I've found thus far...

Well here's the official route : LINK . Put in key and you get a clear image form M$ itself Other options are available on torrent sites. If you are not sure if it is really untouched, simply verify ISO SHA key : LINK .

You could use a USB drive instead of inserting a disc for installation.

Exactly agent_x007. I'm set on getting the components soon—NumLock21 is confirmed, and I'm eyeing the image you mentioned: a "Windows 7 Sp1 AIO (x86x64) 13in1 en-us May2017."
